Incoming mm300 black series LE

Many years back I got interested in JDM Seiko divers and got myself both the SBDX001 mm300 and Emperor Tuna but after a couple years my interest faded and sold them off.
Earlier this year I started looking for an all black watch with either IWC Top Gun and Tudor Black Bay Dark PVD being my top choice, but when I saw this mm300 I knew this is the one and placed an order. I think it very likely evokes my nostalgia for the past. LOL. So a call from AD today and it’s on my wrist now.

Swapped out the original silicone strap.

Nice Blacked Out MM300. Would that be nicknamed Blackbeard?

Nice, I missed out on this one. Called and never left a deposit and then changed my mind a day later and they had all been pre allocated and sold. You changed it off the rubber. Can you post more photos of this one please. It looks nice. Seiko price point on the new releases is a little crazy though.

A little size comparison, 40mm vs 44mm.
Don’t feel that much difference to me.

Lug top, side chamfer and flat area of caseback are brushed. The rest are polished.

Weird the Topper Edition mm200 was black hard coating with diashield. I bet this one is the same.

There should be a Diashield hangtag if coated but only come with Zaratsu hangtag.

The Topper one did not have a hang tag. But Seiko said it was diashield coated.

Great if you can provide link about Diashield.
I didn’t find any official word from Seiko or Topper but lots of sellers mentioned.
