Jomashop Experience

Ordered two watches from JS. SNZH57 and 53. They came in one shipping box. One of the watches' box, the SNZH57 is all beat n ripped. The other is in perfect condition. Shipping box also in perfect condition. Watch crystal of the 57 has a scratch also. Called JS and they asked for pics. Shortly after I sent pics they sent me an RMA. The next day, they sent me a shipping label. So, I shipped the watch today. Let's see what happens next. I'm just disappointed that this company knowingly shipped a basically destroyed watch box and did not even check the watch inside. I want to purchase a bigger price item from them. Now I am having second thoughts. Just wanna share my experience.

OP, you probably want this in the "who's who" subforum.
That looks terrible! Have you contacted them?

Edit: I see you returned them. Did they give any explanation on condition?

Many of you must be unfamiliar with buying pre-owned. You get the set as is. If the watch was purchased with a damaged box, you still get that damaged original box.

Update! Shipped the watch 8/11, they provided the label. Joma received it 8/14/17. Follow-up call was made 8/17/17. I told them that I want to make sure I get a replacement watch and not a refund. Rep told me that they will follow whatever request I wrote on the RMA (specifically wrote REPLACEMENT). Another call made 8/18/17 with the same conversation with a rep. Yesterday I got an email from Joma and my CC stating a refund has been made. Oh well.

that was the experience I had with them when I bought a fountain pen...after purchase and shipment, I wanted an exchange.
went thru the phone and the RMA paperwork...then bam...a refund...and a new order for the one I wanted...no issues really...just a hassle

I returned a Tissot to them before. Once I received an RMA, refund process was easy.

I have bought a couple montblanc pens from them without any issues. Not sure I would purchase a watch from them though with so many trusted sellers here

I bought 2 Citizen watches from them. Delivered in perfect condition. Cost around $150 each. Would I buy a high end watch from Joma? No.

Clearing house prices usually don't foretell top-notch, personal service.
Sucks when it happens to you, but it shouldn't have been completely unexpected.

I have not ordered any expensive watches from them.

That said I would prefer not to order from them unless I have no other choice or they present some really irresistible deals. But they are not on the “never patronize” list as they offer decent RMA service and ultimately you get your cash back for what you had paid in a decent time frame.

My experience with them was for buying a watch winder.

I got a speedmaster from them; no issues and great price. Not my favorite place to buy from, a bit impersonal. I would buy from them again if I could get a really good deal.

I have bought several watches from Jomashop, most recently an Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch. It was perfect and came well packed. An excellent deal all around.
