Did everyone notice that Tudor now has the fabric strap as a separate model?

Not included anymore? But a cheaper version.

This has been an option on the Black Bay for awhile. Not sure about other models.

What? It’s either been leather or bracelet both with the nato as a bonus. Now the nato is a separate model.

Just noticed that....you are correct sir. I was thinking of the leather straps not the nato.

It is a change, but if you must have a Nato they are readily available for around $20.

According to Hodinkee all Tudors will now come on leather, cloth, or bracelet. No combination any longer. No “freebies”.

Saw that. And the nato and leather are same price. Their nato straps with buckle are closer to $250 or $300. But they are awesome.

Tudor natos are pricey sure but they are a step above all the other natos out there. Very nice weave/stitching. pockets for spring bars. nice clasp. $300 isnt bad for a branded Nato really, IWC charges that much for their Pilot Nato straps.

I've never used the fabric strap that came with my Tudor. I'll have to go dig out the box and check.

I must admit I won’t miss it as changing the straps on the blackbay are a nightmare. Glad to just wear them low profile on leather.

I doubt I'll miss it either considering I've never felt the desire to use it over the bracelet.

I can’t remember where that article is but when you go to Tudorwatch.com you can clearly see each blackbay comes with 3 options, bracelet, strap, nato just like the 2018 Basel pieces.

You should try it. I put mine on for the first time a couple weeks ago and love it. Planning on keeping it that way throughout the summer. Makes it a nice contrast to the Rolex w/ bracelet look. Definitely gives off a casual summer vibe I think.

This is the part I really like about the Tudo nato strap. The spring bar pockets keep it in place and look great. Best part is if you screwed up and one of the spring bars pops out, the watch doesn't go flying off. Good thing it it happens while swimming for example.

The Tudor fabric strap is hardly a NATO strap, it's more of an engineered Zulu strap.. it is truly a marvel..

That said, in my 3 years of ownership, I never took it out of the plastic until I sold the watch..
