Basel New Release: What Would You Pay For...

Since we all know Rolex MSRP pricing is now largely irrelevant worldwide due to supply / demand constraints on highly popular models and AD 'situations', how much would you pay for this new release in white gold? How much if it was available in SS?

Not a fan, so $0. I think rolex would shoot themselves in the foot if they released this in WG.

As a SS, i'm not interested. Red isn't my thing. To each is own. I know a lot of WIS will be happy if it comes out in SS, and I'll be happy for them.

Never had any Coke love, still dont. Just not my preferred color combo. My BLNR is lovely and I love the older Pepsi w no holes.

Same, I'm not convinced a dressy jubilee works well with a sporty ceramic bezel.

One day when we look back at this thread, it might be very interesting / telling.... or perhaps not. It's fun to find out what many think right now before Basel happens.

if its going over retail and its hard to get, almost everyone will change their mind guaranteed.

People follow the market and let that guide what they like a lot of the time.

Not for me; Sky D will do. I find the GMTs obsolete.

I always thought that a jubilee does not go with a sport model and a fluted bezel does not go with an oyster. But thats just me

Re-reading all of the "I'd never buy it" threads when the DSSD came out and then the SD43.......all of the negative comments about the looks...then....people see it in the flesh....buy it...and then everyone wants it.

Any new GMT will most likely be introduced in PM before TT and SS.

Its been since 2005 that the first ceramic GMT was introduced in only YG with green dial or black dial...then slowly....trickles down to TT and SS.

With the first ceramic Daytona....it was in PT....then it was in other PM with leather bands....then it went to SS (skipping TT).

Same with the new subs.

No worries on not being able to get it......even when the BLRO and Smurf came out....getting 20-25% is doable from a TS.

I was offered both DSSD and SD43 from my AD and the curiosity is I liked both more when I saw them on pictures. In reality none of them gave me a kick.
Maybe I am an alien
