How scratch-resistant is AR coating on crystal?

According to the Breitling site, our crystals have anti-reflective coating on both sides. So how scratch-resistant is this coating? Will scratches in the coating show? Just want to know how much more careful I need to be with this watch.

I've owned my Breitling SO for 6 years. I wear it daily, it has been on while I've worked on vehicles, inspected construction sites, in weight rooms, saunas, gardens and all other daily activities. I have banged and scraped the face pretty hard on numerous occasions and to date there are no apparent scratches.

Thank You, Wrist Candy, that is very good to know. Since the navi has no outer bezel on top like my other watches, it's probably even more durable.

i think they're dang near indestructable. i took mine into the AD where i purchased it on one of my routine polishes, they said i had a little scratch in mine; however, it wasn't something i could see, and they had to use a jewelers loupe to see it. i've had my watch since 2002 as well.

I took mine off last week after I noticed some scratches.
Used some 3M SB and it was off in short time.
I love the SO but the outside AR is imho to soft!!

AR can be removed rather easiliy though it is applied on two sides.

When you'll take a real macro photo you'll see.
