Another of my Omega GMT

I sometimes wonder if the dial would look better with the waves extending to the rehaut or simply having a matt black face. What do you think? The Great White gets better press but I like a black face on a watch and this baby screams "tool". I wonder why Omega chose to put a line around the date window in the black face and not on the white? I like the simple use of the word chronometer, rather than "superlative chronometer officially certified." Another thing I like about the 2235.50 is the total lack of any slack in the hands.

Unfortunately I don't have a macro lens, so this is an enlargement of a telephoto shot, which is not as sharp. Hope you enjoy it.

At the moment I have it on the bracelet. I'll post some pictures of it on the black strap when I manage to get it changed. When I have the cash, I'd like to get the Omega rubber strap for it. I'd also like to try it out on a Nato strap.

I bet the lume on that would bring a few boats on home.

Wow that's got some big lume hands and dial. Fabulous looking watch.
