There’s a video on YouTube where date wheel on the 44FC broke after golfing.

I actually did see this and joked about it prior to golfing... that was at a range though and i didn’t use a driver at all thruout all 9 holes. I absolutely would have caught this at dinner though as I remember staring at the watch for a while.

Take it in for service

Don't play golf with nice watches, no matter what they tell you it's too much for them

Ambassador play golf in them to make us buy them, but they get them for free and when something goes wrong they just give them a new one, it doesn't mean thay can take the beating

False advertising? Maybe

Not seen this before but imagine the golf impact must have caused this.

Contact AP. Tell them you want it fixed under warranty. I’m sure they will oblige.

DO NOT PLAY GOLF WITH YOUR AP!!!!!!!!
I saw on a youtube video that someone played golf with his AP ROO on and it stopped working on the second day.. apparently the collision can do some damage to the watch

Funny enough, I was just watching a couple tennis training videos on YouTube where they used Nadal as an example and I noticed his RM. my first thought was to laugh, and to respect the durability of those watches. My second thought was that if his watch breaks, we’d never notice and we’d never hear about it.

Wait, what???? Damn, that’s crazy AF.

Hopefully the lose AP logo doesn’t cause any damage to the dial, hands, chapter ring, etc...

That's a shambles. The logo should not be falling off with a few golf shots. Poor QC.

They will likely replace the dial and service under warranty. Sh*t happens.

I bought this from a grey dealer, first class timepieces NYC. Should i reach out to them first? Or just go straight to 57th street AP. The watch is registered and the 5 year warranty is activated on my AP account already

Wow, first time seeing this. Hope it gets fixed soon.

If you need to wear a nice watch to play golf, you should get the RM Bubba Watson...haha. That should be able to take some serious aggressive swings.

I’d go straight to AP. Nothing to do with the seller. Clearly a warranty issue.

That stinks, but I’m sorry it’s irresponsible to play golf in that watch.
