That on a Nato would be pretty nice. Wish the dial had some color contrast to the case and bezel....and in the BB58 case size.

Looks like a 39mm case like the bb58 with 20mm lug width as there is no gap at the lugs where the strap sits

Ceramic Cased Tudor Black Bay for One Watch 2019

It's been announced that Tudor is participating in the biannual "One Watch" Auction this year with a Black Bay in Ceramic. This piece also has an observation caseback.

Do you think we will start to see ceramic cases and observation casebacks coming into production pieces soon? How do you like the looks?

Ceramic Cased Tudor Black Bay for One Watch 2019

Legibility is awful if that’s what it ends up looking like, especially for a “diver”. I have a preference for the anodized aluminum bezel inserts already in use. I suppose more options for others couldn’t hurt.

I think they would tone it down if a ceramic cased Black Bay makes it into production. Guess it doesn't have to be practical if it's a piece unique.

I like the dark look, and really like the leather strap it comes on. Good work Tudor!

I think the exhibition case back could come for Tudor. Only watch seems like a test ground for Tudor. Their first watch for only watch looks a whole lot like the BB58.

How cool is this!

Honorable mention to the Fifty Fathoms and Breguet.

My guess is quite likely yes to ceramic pieces. Exhibition casebacks already exist on the North Flag. I think it'll do fine as an only watch but I don't think it'll be anywhere quite as compelling as a regular production piece.

Looks really good, IMHO. This is a Black Bay I’d like to wear (not diving).

Zero legibility. I don't see the appeal of making this.

Rolex goes Hublot. I hope they don't make this one a production model as they have with the last two.

Reminds me of my all black (dial / hands / bezel / band) swatch I had in the eighties. Very hard to read but "cool" looking.

not intending to hijack thread sorry. I have one still. Swatch just sent me the end pins to put bracelet back on. I now have it in working order and will give to my 12 year old. Regarding the Tudor "Black Night" looks cool if you have a nice collection, but not for a 1 watch person...
