Glad you passed. It looks like a bad fake.
Take the advice above and work with an AD on your first.

The first thing I saw was how the bracelet is all misaligned and crooked where it comes off of the lugs.

Then the rounded over/ mis-shapen lugs, not the same watch as the first photo.
Then the crappy pics...
Some friend. lol!

Good luck finding your watch. It'll be all the more special after the hunt.

If it is a “friend of a friend,” then they should be willing to have the watch authenticated prior to purchase...

This presents an opportunity that is better than “buy the seller”... to have the watch authenticated by Rolex, ensures that it is legit!

I think that was a good decision! Save up and try for the AD experience.. a lot of times the price is not that far apart, but the peace of mind is so worth it!

Good move on your part. And a little FYI, the serial number isn't between the lugs anymore...it's engraved on the rehaut at the six o'clock location.

There are so many top notch sellers here where you'll never have to give authenticity a second thought.
