Awesome SRT is great ride. Congrats

I can totally relate to that.

Can’t wait for the additional pics. Would love to see the interior as well

Hey guys. Loving this car more each day. Have not been this happy with a vehicle in many years. Suppose to snow today so we will see how she handles slick roads. Weather has been crappy so no opportunities for pics yet. I may rub the paint out this weekend and get some shots in the garage.

Yes, looking into some tuning. Funny, my guy dynoed one of these and they stock dyno much higher than MB rates them. A simple ECU/Tune can push 400-420 HP relatively easy with good gas. Torque goes way up too. Plus, as you said, improved shifting. He did a C43 sedan recently and they were able to get 0-60 @ 3.4 and 12.3 in the Q mile.

Is that 400-420 whp? My buddy has a c43 sedan and I've been trying to get him to tune the car.

If I remember correctly that was at the wheels. I will try and double check with my guy.

Hey Brother, got lucky with a 50 degree day. Started on the paint with a few stages of polish. More work to do on the paint. Lol, wish I would have gone matte gray. Then took a little drive with the top down.
Really happy with my choice. Great all around vehicle. Enough power for street fun but not so much I will get in trouble. Will be seeing my tuner in a couple weeks which will get me another 50 or so HP to the wheels but more importantly will improve the trans/shifts.
Here are a couple shots

Mark, that looks really really good, great job. What kind of upgrades are you doing to get the extra hp?

Very kind of you thanks. Simple ECU change and a good tuner. Just makes everything work better, even get better gas mileage...
It was very noticeable change in my Audi. Like a different car. Never understand why they detune these cars at the factory so much.
AMR is the maker of the setup. They claim +90 hp and +120 torque if I want it. My guy will help me figure out the best configuration.

Looks Great!

I'm interested in how the tuning goes. I might need to find a Master Tuner here in San Diego!

Hey Larry,

I will let you know. Parts should be in soon, then need to drive over to the city to have them install and tune.

Wow. The more I see the more I like.

This is literally a perfect car. Great for daily driving, but a total bad ass AMG sports car.

And a convertible. That literally ticks all the boxes. The perfect do all car.

Thank you Seth. That is my thinking. Actually goes well in the snow and ice too. These AWD German Cabrios are the perfect cars for me. Keeps me from needing two cars and gives me everything I want.

Soft top only Eddie. Nice and thick, very quiet and minimal road noise with top up. No water leaking when washing. These modern soft tops are really good.

My dad just picked up an E400 (coupe) for his second car. It's beautiful, and tbh I thought that was a E drop top. Love the new grills.
