He played well all year. Sh-t happens. It was a bad beat, but the Vikes made plays when they needed to.

FWIW, I was hoping the Saints would win. Brees arm strength is dropping off. He may not get another shot at a championship.

The last 3 minutes or so of the Vikings game was about as good as pro football gets. While I have no dog in the fight, it was fantastic to watch.

The last five minutes of the Jags game was great too.

It was a horrible play, but I also see where he was coming from- he didn't want to get a pass interference penalty.

If he was 15 yards back he just had to bring him down and let time expire. Tough lesson. It's amazing how much understanding of the game has to be had on the fly- especially for these new players.

The Minneapolis Miracle... I leapt out of my seat screaming. What a crazy finish to the game! This is why I love football so much.

We are going all the way this year, even TRF know it with the purple pledge to the purple people eaters! Bring on NE in Viking town I say.

Thielen and Diggs have been brilliant all season.

Possibly the worst defensive play in the history of the NFL; not only did they let someone catch the ball 25 yards down the field on the sideline, the safety completely whiffs and while doing so, he takes his out his teammate who is the only other guy who can make a play on Diggs... Just horrific!

No one really teaches to tackle like that. It’s always use your arms, wrap up, and drive through the ball carrier. Obviously easier said then done depending on the ball carrier.

I just watched both games here after coming home from work. It is Monday here.

I have no dog in the hunt being a Broncos fan but I'll always cheer for a team that has not won a Super Bowl over one that has (unless the Broncos are playing.)

So I was cheering for the Jags and The Vikings. At the end of the Vikings game I was drained. That was some goooooood football!!

I remember all the Purple People Eater, Fran Tarkenton losses in the big game so I am gonna root for the Vikings from here out. NFC that is. Jags in the AFC. I think the last thing that anyone wants outside of Massachusetts is another NE Super Bowl.

Sick, utterly sick here in NoLa.... everyone will be mourning this one down here, and now Drew Brees is a free agent, so there’s that....

Yes indeed! An amazing burger!

What do you serve visiting vegetarians? Lamb?

I miss grilling / smoking chicken over almond wood.

I'm informed the good old days ... will make a comeback next decade.

I've been a Vikings fan since 1961. That has to be the most enjoyable moment ever. I think Williams was trying to avoid any interference call that could extend play.

its situational football.

he didnt want to get the pi call and mistimed the play badly. over ran it. but get the pi call. it is a spot foul and theyd have a 52 yard kick because it occurred at the 35 yard line.

when in saw the play i was wondering why biggs didnt run out of bounds because i thought no way that was the safety who just did that. boy was i wrong.

Sorry to see the Steelers out so early Ken but it wasn't a surprise. We get a lot of their games televised in my part of the world and for some reason they just weren't consistently dominant. Never sure which team was showing up.
Didn't feel like their year. JMO.

It was a heck of a game and the Saints have nothing to be ashamed of. They fought a battle right up to the last play. Nobody could have predicted the Vikes would score the way things were looking!

Agree, might be the worst play I have ever seen. Killed my fantasy roster. Was loaded up with Saints and Pats and feeling pretty good.
