Omega Reference Number
Hi all,
I am selling my 2001 Omega Speedmaster. Its a really nice watch, but I recently upgraded so its time to let my Speedmaster go. I've decided to do it locally so I don't have to hassle with shipping, plus I've never sold a watch before so I'm not a TS. I posted it on Craigslist. Respondent didn't ask for my Watch Number, but he asked me to give him the Reference Number. Is it safe to do so? Most of the watches I see for sale on this Forum block the (serial) numbers out. Thanks! |

The reference number is the model number not the serial number. Don’t give him the serial number, fine to give him the reference number as in Seamaster 2254.50.
