Best Rollerballs?
I am thinking about getting my first nice pen. I am leaning towards rollerball and was wondering what pen and manufacturer I should go with? Are Montblanc pens really that good? if so which one should I get? What other brands should I look into? thank you for any info you can impart to a total pen newb.

Matt, The Montblanc Rollerballs are fabulous. Just as anything else I think you need to get out therre and take a look at a boutique near you and try a couple on for size. I chose the Montblanc Meisterstuck Legrand Rollerball as that one seemed to work best for me.

Matt, MontBlanc writing implements are very high quality and there are many styles to choose from. As for other companies they also produce high quality products and some of them are, Parker, Dunhill, FaberCastell, Conklin, Montegrappa, Namiki-Pilot, Pelican, Sailor, Sheaffer, Visconti and Waterman. There is the Fountain Pen Hospital in New York City(www.FountainPenHospital.com) who have a brick-mortar as well as internet sales. And check around where you live as there might be pen stores in your area!!!
