Tudor 7928 Serial / Dial question

Is 56X,XXX too late for a silver print T Swiss T Chapter Ring dial for the 7928? This would be about 1966, I believe.

I've seen one or two examples with it [0], but read on tudorsub.com that it this one only lasted until 509,XXX

Good looking watch, really.

The Devils Sub (V.I.66 accidentally stamped caseback) should not be chapterring. Not saying it is impossible, but that would be the latest I have seen.

Great to know, thank you! Do you have any more information on the Devil's Sub? I've not heard of that and a cursory search on the forum didn't yield great results.

I believe he just nicknamed the Devil's Sub because the VI.66 reads 666 which is "the number of the Devil"

4th quarter 5512 / 5513 casebacks are frequently VI.66 and almost all or all 4th quarter 7928s are. I do not recall any IV66. And I believe I first heard that term here or VFR a decade ago.
