My Take on Rolex teasers ( Yet another)

So my 0.02$ here..

1st watch on the video immediately follows the moon and has a smooth basel- I think this could be a remake of the Rolex moon phase 8171

The 2nd watch follows the waves in the water and has a serrated basel similar to a submariner- This I think is the new sea dweller

The 3rd has a fluted basel but not like anything we have seen before.. a new "? dweller"

Just speculations for now..

Impossible to say but I'm expecting things to be disappointing as I usually only like 1 of the models every year.

With the fluted bezel, I'm betting a DJ II in the 39mm range as the 41 wears pretty large for many and the 36mm is way too small for all but women.

That second watch is not thick enough to be the new sea dweller. I personally don't think they will make a new SD but I might be wrong. Also no crown guards?

My guess would be 2 and 3 are the same watch at different angles.

I wonder if Rolex executives browse this website and laugh themselves silly at how we speculate?
Mondays Agenda: "What can we do to make the fine folks at TRF get more buzz going about possible upcoming product releases and stir them into even more of a frenzy?"
It has to fun on their part as they have all the answers! I guess pretty soon we will too!

Uhh its only one watch in the video...

No crownguard
No dots on the crown
Large diameter with flutted bezel but on the top its flat

My guess:
Something complicated like the SkyDweller
But with moonphase

Cheers

I thought that...but it could actually be different pieces (two or three). No way anyone will know until the big day!

Exactly! I'm still thinking it's only one watch...but the more I watch this video with a perspective on multiple pieces I see the differences in the bezel and crystal..that different angles wouldn't necessarily change

hmmmm

WE WAIT!

I am pretty convinced that its 3 different watches. The Bezel cant change that much by the angle. The angle looks pretty much the same in all 3 shots.

I'd put some money it :)

Excited about Wednesday.. Rolex should do a live event like Apple for us WIS Rolex fans

Its the lighting what makes it look different.
And the crown has only one dot under the Rolex logo if you change the contrast of the pics.

Cheers

I think you're pretty excited about the glimpses of "Basels"

And...I bet you are looking forward to "Bezel" world.

Should be interesting. Wish I liked Rose Gold.

Exactly what I said on another teaser thread. I hope we're both right - would love to see a moon phase in the current lineup.
