Day date 40 white gold - would love thoughts/feedback

As others said above the green is nice but is a fashion color that may not last. The tapestry rhodium looks nice

Consider the previous slate (rhodium) model Day Date 40. The motif dial keeps it low key but adds a little bit of character. I was really surprised how much I liked this on the wrist.

Olive is stunning but I was worried the color would get old after time.

I went with black stick dial. It’s kinda boring but I like it for an everyday driver.

I think the olive dial is unique but if a one and only PM I would not find it versatile enough based on how I wear my watches. The black dial always works bit the silver is nice also. I have a silver dial DD II and while I can not photograph it well it is stunning in person. The silver dial or the Rhodium would be my choice. Good luck and let us know what you decide.

I would go Romans with the DD40, either the olive or the blue. The way the numerals are designed is just pure magic with the bezel.

olive is incredible, but i actually tried on the slate dial and fell in love with it. it’s a very discreet dial, but i feel can go with anything, and you get the lume for dark situations.

I lean more towards the Olive because the green family is my preferred color, but can’t get past the non functionality of the Roman numerals at night. Like someone else posted stick with sticks and you can never go wrong.

I bought the Roman’s. The night vision/ lum is a non issue for me, if I was a navy seal or the equivalent possibly but not needed in a dress watch although I wear mine every day. I find the Roman’s more special on a regular basis.

I’m on the list for the DD rose olive dial. AD texted offering me it in WG instead and I jumped on it. Glad I did.

When in doubt, go with blue dial and roman numerals.

I think the grey is spectacular, also haven't really seen many which is cool. Can't go wrong!

Scratching my head on this one….a navy seal? What does a navy seal have to do with any average person that wants to know the time at night, movie theater, or as you would say the equivalent? If you own a Roman numeral dial, how does one tell time at night? I’m guessing your phone?

I got the gray on my platinum DD40 and really like it. Super subtle.

i too love the stick dials and the baguette diamond dials. Looking for a 228239 with black dial as i type this. I love the green and blue dials but cannot get over the roman numbers. If they had green and blue in stick options, i'd have 3 options that would work for me to choose from right now!!!!!
