Yup, I’ve loved it on the 36 for ages; glad to see they brought it to the 40 (and sans diamonds!)

Truly nothing. I'm surprised how lame this release was (although maybe I shouldn't have been).

Even Tudor was not all that special and I can usually count on them to outdo Rolex.

Yes, this is the only watch I'm after this year. One Omega release outdid everything Rolex put out today.

I appreciate that they updated the style of roman numerals on the DD36 (to match the DD40). I'd be happy to add one to my collection in the near future

The platinum 1908 is nice, but I think I still prefer the YG black dial.

None of them, the 1908 is the best of an uninspiring bunch… even Tudor haven’t bothered to do anything particularly clever or interesting, their new GMT is nice… but safe and same old same…. I’m sure some will be happy, but I doubt I’ll be getting my wallet out any time soon

There doesn't seem to be a lot of love for the new releases so.
The diamond Daytona is probably the most useless/ugly watch I have ever seen.

I'd buy the Deep Sea in gold, once the aftermarket drops the price to below gold Submariner levels. (I say this since the aftermarket prices for 126660 watches are at or below similar condition 126610 LN watches today.)

Nothing in this years offering from Rolex, Tudor, Patek, or Vacheron excites me. The only thing I’ve liked this morning is the no date titanium Grand Seiko dress watch, but even though I like it, I wouldn’t pay $10k for it.

I kind of agree. I like some of the GS's design, but this brand is just not the 10 grand level.
I would consider it if the price were halved at least.

Agreed, I really think it is. I quite like the SS GRNR and the new black Tudor BB41 on jubilee (would have been much better with the blue bezel insert though) but neither have me drooling like the Speedy.

Great timing for Omega too.... with Rolex effectively taking the year off.

If I'm in the situation room for Omega I'm telling them to fire everything (New Seamaster Diver 300) and own the year.

I’m a big fan of the new Ombre dials on the DD40. That green YG is phenomenal. Much better than the flat green.
