New Diver from GO SeaQ
Just saw this when looking for information on the blancpain releases. Looks nice. I would like to hear Jockes take.

I like it. And it's 39mm which is a great size for most. Any word on pricing or availability?

That faux vintage model is fantastic! Might have to scoop one up when they're available.

Even if based on a previous model those numbers and dashes are awfully big.

I like the blue dial, but the date window on the dial is... weird. It is nice that they actually printed the wheel so the date is parallel to the view angle and not angled, as is typical. I also dislike the second hand counterweight design, but that's forgivable, I think. Otherwise, it's a great looking watch!

It's ok, quirky as everything with GO, but the price is too high.
I just don't get GO, I want to like them but I just don't with the exception of a couple of pilots (that I find to big).

It's nice to see that GO is bringing back their dive watch. I just wish they'd make a no date version.

I kinda like it. Is the only difference for the LE is the green hands?

I'm first on the list in my country to get one of the limited edition 39mm pieces. There is 69 world wide. I don't know whether to go for it or not. I really like the watch. But there are many other nice options in that price range, Rolex included and servicing a Glashutte in house movement may not be so easy accessible.
I have a bit of time to decide |

I like the overall style, but the dial isa bit too busy for my tastes.
IMO it would like better with date, 6, 9 and 12. |

Too small. 39mm? no thanks. 40-41mm would have been perfect.

I love the brand but to me the hands on this one look the wrong way round - the arrow tip would look better on the hour hand than the minute one.

I can't say I'm a fan of this watch. I think there is too much competition for it at this price point for it to be successful. For GO, I'd prefer a more traditional style.

Would anyone have further info on the water resistance of the SeaQ divers? I.e. the crown seals, how many are there and where is it located? Caseback seal, how does it work together with the always-correct case back system? Is this a similar version to Omega's Naaid lock system as they are under the Swatch group?
I wanted a Sea Dweller for its impressive (to me) Triplock system but the Rolex market is preventing me mere mortals like me from getting one. Hence the SeaQ! |

Not sure why you need to know any of that to enjoy wearing and using them.
Probably a question best asked of GO directly, but don’t be disappointed if they refuse to answer due to commercial sensitivity, etc. WR ratings are detailed in the link provided in the first post, and the dials of the panodate versions. |

I would think it's something that GO would let potential buyers know to reinforce the credibility of the watch to be used as a real dive watch, but that's just my wishful thinking I guess. |

Understood, but I suppose since we’ve seen the many videos of how modern watches are made, tested/QC’d, then we can take it for granted that they should perform as intended. As the article indicates, the new LE model meets DIN/ISO standards, therefore is qualified for timing mixed air diving. A handy read if you want to know the key ins and outs of what constitutes a proper diver’s watch — https://www.watchtime.com/featured/dive-watch-defined/ |

Would be an okay offering from some micro-brand that sells at a heavy discount. For GQ? Probably one of the biggest misses.
GO almost nailed its brand identity when its shed the previous line of sports models and the Navigator family. You sort of could see the brand and its direction--basically it was about well decorated, traditional watches with some flair (as seen in the vintage collection). Then boom. This unwanted child shows up. Faux patina, odd numerals, really interesting take on finishing. I am being kind here. It is definitely not a Sub wanna be, but not quite a Sinn. Combine a few of these models with the operations of GO USA, and soon you'll see the brand sold to some Asian conglomerate for a fraction of its today's price. P.S. The bracelet. That's the best part of the watch.
