Journe quick change

How common is it to scratch the inside of the lugs when changing straps with the Journe quick change? I was picking out my soon to be piece when the AD slipped and scratched the inside of the RG lug. It’s not visible unless you’re specifically looking for it so I’m not sure I even care, especially if it’s a common occurrence that will happen more as I change my own straps in the future, but I’d like to get a feel for what others have experienced.
Thanks

There shouldn’t be any marks from the type used, unless they were trying to force it in without retracting the pin fully.
Once the non-sprung side is located in the lug hole, then it should be relatively straight forward to line up the other side before releasing the pin.

If you are careful and retract the pin to the max, this shouldn’t happen.
Also even if you have small scratches around the hole, nobody can see that.

No need to stress for that, life is too short, just enjoy wearing your beautiful piece.

Thanks. That’s kind of how I saw it as no big deal- I just haven’t purchased it yet and didn’t know if it’s the type of thing I should be bothered about pre-buy. Plus I kind of felt like I’d end up scratching it there at some point too (and it is almost nice that I don’t have to cringe about it now)
