799 - BMG + Carbotech
Panerai’s “year of the submersible” met with mixed reviews, but the 799 seems like a really good example of modern Panerai.
BMG-Tech case plus CarboTech bezel and a titanium case back. The dial is black with blue lume. 47mm. 3-day P.9010 calibre. Really really expensive, but pretty nice! I like it and if it was a reasonable price and available at my AD I would give it a look. I just got back into the Panerai game with a 1389 and that was about the most I was willing to spend on the brand. I really like the 1389 though. It prompted me to buy a pre-owned Panerai 104 from my AD so now I am in the Panerai game with two watches. Based on the lack of popularity for Panerai at the moment and the suppressed prices I might get another. I have always found appeal in things others don't like and if the price is right, why not.

a very nice submersible with mix of carbotech and bmg material, but the 47mm case is too big for my 6.75 inch wrist.
