Personally I like Bally. A card holder with a built in money clip in the back is what I use when in formal to semi formal wear. I have an 8 year old wallet that’s still standing strong for everyday use that I don’t see myself replacing anytime soon

If you’re willing to take a stroll off the beaten path, check out Trayvax wallets. I have a couple Goyards, Gucci, Montblanc that I use for evenings and such, but my day to day wallet has slowly evolved to be the Trayvax Contour. Essentially its a card holder and money clip, and you can adjust it to your desired number of cards you want to carry.

LV cardholder is the way to go. I’ve had mine since Labor Day and I love love love it. It’s around $400 but worth every penny IMO

Wallet Recommendations?

Have you considered switching to a money clip ?

Been using one for years now and could never go back.

My exotic leather wallet I’ve had for almost 15 years is still operational and lives in my backpack to carry cards for other countries and drivers license etc. so only need it when travelling.

Otherwise 2 cards and some cash is all I carry about with me day to day.

Thinking of purchasing a Ridge Wallet ... ridgewallets.com

Anyone have one and like them? Reviews are fantastic on their website and another friend recommended, but seems like a big jump from a classic, bifold leather wallet that I’ve been used to.

I've never owned one, but I wasn't a fan of elastic banding as that can loosen over time and seems like a weak point, in theory at least. Check out Trayvax like I'd referred to above, similar minimalist design. I like that they are all leather and metal. Adjustable depending on how many cards and how much cash you'd like to carry. Here's a pic of mine.

The LV “pocket organizer” is small, slim and fits plenty for daily use. I’ve had one of their softer leather ones and it looks brand new after 2 years of daily use.
I also just ordered a Fauré le page.

This and a money clip. Best Wallet I’ve ever had. On my second but only because my dumb ass left the first at the World Famous Showgirls in Kings Cross.

I agree with this. I went to Etsy and searched Horween Shell Cordovan and basically got a custom wallet exactly the way I wanted from a small shop made in the USA. You can literally find any material and any style and you can pick the country of origin to support a small entrepreneur near you.

Plenty of local small shops making higher quality handmade pieces than some of the mass produced name brands.
