Anyone think a song describes their life?

I was in my Durango last night and had it on a classic 60's and 70's station...when Bob Dylan's Tangled up in blue comes on....which i have not heard in 20 years or more....when it was over i thought the song describes my life almost perfectly...I would say 80 to 85 percent or so anyway.

I know every word of that song, as well as the whole album. His best.

My own song? Too many ups and downs in my life to pick just one

music is the only thing i never tire of, along with an interest in cars.

there isnt one song that describes my life, i dont really think like that, but there are many that give me that nostalgia feeling.

I'd have to think about that, but I always thought that one of the most profound lyrics was "don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy". Eagles-Take it Easy.

To me it means what affects most people, is that in their life's journey, work-wise, relationship-wise, that their journey overwhelms them so they do drugs or drink or are unhappy, and they drive themselves crazy instead of enjoying the ride.

I'll keep thinking of my theme song though.

I think that one could apply to a lot of us who came of age in the 2000s.

Being 62, when I hear Bob Segers “Like A Rock” it brings back great memories!! Kind of sums it up!

Hard to sum up an entire life with a three minute song, but George Thorogood had one, 'I Really Like Girls', that comes pretty close.

Interesting question Greg, been pondering it much of the day. As some have said one song might not be enough. I know you sure have had a lot happen in your life.
