Smurf over time

I wear my smurf everyday. Sure I look at other watches. That being said, the burning desire to go out and get another high-line watch has been muted. I just look down and smile. I could stare at the smurf all day. I love the face, I love the weight and I love wearing it everyday.

I might eventually go get another dive watch or two (aqualung, tornek, or fifty fathoms) but the smurf will be my everyday watch.

I’ve had mine for a month or so. I don’t get how people consider it as a heavy watch, its poised and firm on the wrist due to the increased mass, but certainly isn’t heavy. A heavier watch is the wg ym II I have which is noticeably heavier than the smurf. Both are less or the same as some panerai I have.

The weight of a watch is a huge deal with it being comfortable. The more weight, the more it applies pressure when it moves around on the wrist. You can adjust it tighter if you can stand it, but you cant avoid the mass on the end of your arm. Everyone is different with how much weight they can tolerate on their wrist. Anything above 170 grams I find annoying on a everyday basis. I guess this makes my wallet lucky as any full PM is over weight for my comfort zone.

Curious if you have tried the PM Daytona? The Smurf, although I bought it 2x never really felt comfortable enough for me to keep it, but the RG Daytona feels pretty comfortable even on a daily basis...
