Moderately Scratched Smurf
Just saw very good work by Chronosky in FL polish out scratches.
I'm in NJ though. Anyone know of any very skilled polishers that could do a light and careful polishing to clean up scratches in the NJ area? I thought I would have to send back to Factory but would prefer local if trustworthy. Thanks all. |

Don’t see why anyone would ever polish a Rolex. A Nautilus or Royal Oak maybe, because their all about the polishing effect, but a Rolex, never.

I don’t know the firm you referred to but I do know that there are only a few true artists around for polishing i.e. LAWW. Better than your regular RSC.
If you really have to than no way I would settle for less than the best in the business. So many claim to be able to polish but not really many can. Check out jool tool Padi is right though, if your watch is running fine just wait until it stops doing that and do a complete service including the polish.

Thank You
Thanks guys.
Watch is 4 years old and I initally treated it like my SS Submariner and it definitely scratches MORE. Having learned my lesson I want to do this 1 time cleaning and armed with experience will be more careful since I like the non-scrached look as much as possible...understand its unavoidable to some extent. Thanks again. |

Also helps ruin the owner's sanity.
