Rolex Ziplock for Hang Tags

Hi all, I’m sure this has been discussed at nauseam before since it’s an important topic but I’m in need of a Rolex ziplock bag for my hang tags.

I recently purchased a new Rolex and the AD just threw the hang tags in the box all sloppily without a ziplock and I’m concerned that my Rolex set is now incomplete and devalued without the ziplock.

I called my AD and he was perplexed with my question and the conversation got heated. I’m certainly going to leave a negative yelp review about this issue. The watch was flawless, but no ziplock?? Come on now!

Does anyone have a source where I may find one? I don’t want one from a local supermarket, they’re too large. I’m not interested in a grey market ziplock or a little baggie that is commonly used to package illicit items, it must be an authentic Rolex/AD provided ziplock. I’m willing to pay top dollar.

Thanks!

If your AD sold you a Rolex with ziplocks for the hang tags you've bought a fake. I expect your AD is fake too. So that's your hat trick.

Exactly! When my AD put the hang tags loose in the box I told him not to. I had to walk a few 100 yards to get back to my car and who knows what damage they may have done to the watch and bracelet just rattling around.

He was quite miffed so I took back the opera tickets had I had gifted him.

I didn’t even think about the potential damage to the watch, that’s a great point. My concern was now that this things are worth 2x, 3x, a million x, the msrp I was thinking who would ever want to buy it should I decide to sell void an authentic ziplock? Box and papers bro is important but no ziplock bro? That just won’t fly.

My AD told me they typically receive only six Rolex ziplock bags per year… and he hasn’t seen one yet in 2022 due to the shortage.

My other AD said it is Rolex policy to hold onto the bag for one year for professional models. I objected to Rolex’s draconian measures to prevent flipping and declined a meteorite Daytona as a result. I won’t be bullied by these games!

Is it possible the ziplocks are only going to VIP customers or are the ADs selling the ziplocks out the back door to secondary dealers? Rolex needs to investigate the ziplock problem.
