Sucks being klutzy; live with it or repair it doesn't really matter. Ultimately there's a cost involved; it's just a matter of when.

You'll get used to it. I have a similar dent on my AP ROO that bothered me at first. I don't even notice it now.

If it still bothers you in a couple of months, look into replacing.

You must get a new watch! Ok sorry for the joke scratches and dent will happen once it is all nasty looking then get it replaced.

The exact same thing happened to my BLNR. I already called Rolex and said they'd have to replace the entire bezel. Doesn't come separately.

But I just deal with it. Not noticeable and scratches add character to the watch. When it's due for a service get it fixed and Bob's your uncle.

Did they say what the cost would be for a new bezel with the BLNR insert (if yours was a BLNR)?

In enlarged images, everything gets blown out of proportions - including concerns. :)

Probaly not, I hope. USD2500 for a bezel is just silly. The BLRO referred to had a cracked insert.

I know that is annoying but on one but you will notice day to day. I would just ignore it and wait till service.

Agreed it won't remove the mark completely, but it will certainly look a lot less knarled and ragged and you'll likely feel happier with that damage blended out. Just smoothing off the jagged edges of the metal where the damage has occurred will make it a lot more pleasing to the eye.

I feel your pain. Dropped my 11 month old BLNR on the tile in my bathroom last week scratched the bezel ring even worse than the Op because it slid across the floor. Miraculously the ceramic was not scratched or chipped and it is at my AD now with fingers crossed hoping he can make it presentable. This totally sucks.
