GMT II on ebay
This looks ok to me but what do you think? I recognize the appraisal from Humbertown as I have the same document from them on my Sub, although letterhead can be duped........just looking because it's a Canadian seller which makes the transaction easier for me.

It all looks good, but the first picture is of a different watch. Not sure if that would put me off or not as I recent;y sold a home gym on ebay where I used a stock photo as the first pic and then pics of the acutal used gym for the other 2.

Hey, you're right, the first picture has the Swiss T<25 at 6 o'clock. Wonder why he did that? Maybe I'll ask......

He probably did it because he found that pic online and it represents the model he has for sale. It is a good pic for the thumbnail next to the listing. I don't think he is doing anything shady here, not like the guy that had a GMT-II for sale and the picture of the box and paperwork was actually of a GMT-IIc!

The first picture's watch has been polished very severely and isn't in great shape. Let's hope the seller is more discriminating about his own watch.

Let's just say that I've become obsessed with polished cases. The edges on the first picture's watch are too rounded, and the lugs have been buffed, no longer retaining the original flatter and rougher finish. When you buy vintage watches, you pay particular attention to details like that. Most newer watches should not be re-polished.
Buffed: New:
