Love it! You are a lucky man to get to see so many beautiful places and decompress. On my bucket list is a Yellowstone / Sturgis motorcycle rally / Mount Rushmore road trip from So Cal. Someday...Someday.

Great trip! Thanks for posting. A route from Bismarck to Itasca Park would typically pass through Fargo, then my hometown, as I'm less than 50 miles from the headwaters. Did you pass through Detroit Lakes?

Lots of long days in the saddle. 500 miles or more in a day can be really long, especially going east and losing hours as you cross time zones.
