Duane Allman would be my #1 choice.

#2 might be Gram Parsons.

"One night in Juarez I lost all the money I had"..............

He was such a kind guy and always had time for his fans.

Here he's signing autographs after a show in Orlando.

I spent 3 Hr's partying in his tourbus and had a memorable time.

Notice his logo on the door.

musicians, arrangers and song writers to work with. Night and Day, 1962 version, (Cole Porter) exemplified the man at his very best. Talk about voice control.

Well said. There were others with better voices but no one could put it all together like he did.

Hey Mon - What a fantastic occasion... you were a lucky fan, my man!
I have seen his nickname The Hag and The Hagg - but now seeing the logo, it is obvious what it really was. Thanks, Loved your photo.

He is buried up the street from where I'm sitting right now. I'll drop by and give him your best. Damn good guitar player but no chops. My old boss use to worship the guy. I think he has a couple of his guitars in his collection.
