Suspicious YM Midsize

What do you guys think? It's cheap but doesn't look like original box and no papers. Has valuation certificate and seller insists it's genuine, but I just think it looks fake.

My wife has a midsize SS Plat YM and it doesn't look like this (dial, date font etc)

Opinions welcome

Looks fine from here. It's an A-serial (1998-1999), so it's basically the earliest version of the 35mm version watch (and the box is period-correct). Later models had different dial variations/date fonts I believe.

At first glance it did look like an arm, but I think it's simply a bathroom towel.
