Longevity of forum posts….

Here is the Doxa, I need to take some updated pics. This was taken in 2016 just after I got it back in my hands. You can see the 14060m Sub in the background. Found a pic of the 116520 too. I had that one serviced just over two years ago at a rolex certified service center thats “local” to me so I could drop it off instead of mailing, I kept it unpolished to keep the years of him wearing it.

For the heck of it, here is the current collection. I want to add the new white dial speedy and either the 116610 and or 126610LV. As you can see..I have a theme.

116520, 216570, 16570, 126710 BLRO, 116710 BLNR, 16710 (all dials), 16610LV, 16600, 14060M, 116600, 116660JC.

Congrats on getting it back! Really awesome stuff. Looks great! I’m sure you’ll wear it well in his memory. Beautiful watches and great collection.

Lovely story, brought a tear to my eye!

I lost my dad a few years ago. I got the watch he wore daily, it's one of my most precious possessions.

This is a great story! I'm so glad you were able to go through those memories and get the watch back! Very nice collection you've got there!
