I was speaking with Miami just yesterday actually about the new QP, and the conversation meandered to Havanas whereby I was told this years allotment of Havana dials was sold out already. So, waiting list in Miami, but not sure if perhaps some ADs or maybe New York has one. It's a killer watch! Well, I have the AL, not CS, but both are great.

Did you get to see the new QP? I really like the more monochromatic dials on the newer version, the silver in particular. On the website the guilloche pattern looks really contrasty, but I'm guessing that's a trick of the processing and lighting. On my CS it's more subtle in real life. I do like the raised edges of the calendar apertures as well, a bit reminiscent of Lange, but I'm guessing the numeral discs are at least in the same plane rather than offset like the Lange big date.

Overall, I'm surprised the QP doesn't get as much love as other references, it's so well executed technically, and remains elegant and readable as well.

I didn't. I'm not in Miami. They are supposed to be sending me pictures though as they received their first QP last week (already pre-sold of course). I for one love the QP. I do agree it does not get the love of some of the rest of the line, but they are sublime.

Different boutique reported the same; requested Havana CS in platinum and was told the manufacturer “sold out” on Havana dials for the year but they take orders for 2021.

I hope the ramping up in production to capture demand doesn’t effect on quality of end products.
