Two words
Every ten years, the monks in a monastery are allowed to break their vow of silence by speaking two words.
Ten years go by and it's one monk's first chance. The others have gathered around, and with all eyes on him, the monk says, "Food bad." Ten more years pass, and again, the other monks have gathered around to hear him speak. He looks around the room, then dejectedly says, "Bed hard." A decade later, the big day has arrived again. This time, he skips the group, walks directly into the head monk's office, gives him a long, hard stare and says, "I quit." "I'm not surprised," says the head monk. "You've been complaining since you got here.
