Thanks for the link, very interesting, and a nice watch.

Strange that he bought the watch at a boutique but hasn’t got the box yet! I wonder if it is some sort of demonstrator with the serial number of 36.

Omega bracelets are my biggest complaint about the brand. But this one, it’s a beauty!

Nice video but no adjustable clasp. That must be a joke.

Beautiful watch. But, not sure about that premium over the Sapphire Sandwich...

The sapphire sandwich has been a bargain choice for a long time, this Ed white is a vastly different piece despite the similar look, it’s a hand build special movement with one of the most fascinating history in watchmaking, sure some people might still find it hard to justify the premium price and that’s ok, there is always the more honest and almost equally good sapphire sandwich Speedy pro for them to pick.

I hear you on the appeal, I just feel my wallet twinge at price. i should have also prefaced this with I'm in the market for a sapphire sandwich (definitely a good bargain) and I have a pre-moon Speedy with the 321 movement. So, I definitely understand the allure of the movement.

Nicely done, I find the lume / marker colouring to be really well done. Obviously the movement is the star of the show here and its very impressive what Omega has done by scanning an older piece.

It's clear (to me at least) that this is for the connoisseurs and collectors. I recall reading comparisons between this and the Daytona. They're incomparable in my view. I think the 321 will be bought mostly (perhaps exclusively) by collectors and the history lovers rather than the wide variety of Daytona buyers.

Closer to 22k, put a deposit down at a boutique and you’re guaranteed one

Looks so good! Wonder if you can retro fit this clasp with another adjustable clasp too.

Also wonder if Omega will reduce production of the new sapphire speedbwhen the current model retires. Event at full MSRP it’s still a good buy in the current market .

Just came back from the boutique. She got a few of them, but already sold out. They will reach out once mine is ready, then I can decide if I take it home or let another lucky guy have it.

A great piece to be sure, but it's hard for me to consider when you can get actual vintage 321-powered Speedies for far less.

I love that bracelet. Will it be available for purchase from Omega, and if so, will it fit the regular Speedy Pro? I bought mine on leather, but would like to get a bracelet for it at some point.

New bracelet is next level from omega previous.

A difference Much like rolex when they switched to their modern bracelet.

Side note, the older omega bracelet and clasp was considered a step up by many from the older rolex offering

Unless you really want an EW 321, the 1861 or 1863 pose a far greater value especially on the used market. But it wouldn't surprise me that in 2-3 years if the EW 321 will be below $10k on the used market.

I love the watch but at $14k it's a definite no for me.

It’s a gamble. Will it rise in value or not.

Since it’s made in the thousands, is expensive and to be honest, isn’t really interesting outside the Omega fans, I don’t think it will. Maybe I’m wrong.
