Do you like polished center links?

I do. I understand that they can get scratched. Maybe that is why the BLNR went from Oyster to Jubilee.

I love the look of them, but it was a factor in deciding to go with a vintage Datejust.

I like them but it depends on the model.
Works on the GMT but I wouldn't want them on a SS diver.

Yes. One of the main reasons I do not like subs, deep seas etc. Look to bland for my taste.

If you are going to wear a PM model than you had better love them. Most have them.

Polished center links on an oyster bracelet -- It's sort of like the watch isn't sure if it should be dressy or tooly, they look rough after time. On a jubilee, it works for me.

It's not a deal breaker for me, but I'd prefer the Daytona not to have them. Same with Milgaus, and YM 40mm.

If I could afford a PM model I would rather spend the money on a higher horology watch. An AP or a PP or possibly a Lange.
I've got nothing against Rolex PM models just think that for the higher prices they charge the attention to detail isn't there.

I wouldn’t like it. All my PCL watches except for the Daytona have already the stable. I just couldn’t stand the scratches.

Don't much like PCL in SS but I'm OK with them on YG.

Yes.

The YG polished center links show minor scratches, much more so then the WG. I like the way the polished center links kind of change, to it's reflective backdrop.

I own a DJ2 and TT sub with the polished center links and I have to say I am not really a fan. I do not baby my watches and so my DJ2 and TT Sub have dozens of battle scars (aka Desk Diving and walking around scars). When new they really look great but after a few years they look really worn as opposed to the regular oyster bracelet that tends to hide the scratches. Just my opinion..

I agree - polished center links work better on the jubilee that the oyster bracelet. I have the CHNR with the polished rose gold center links on the oyster bracelet and so far so good. Had it almost a year.

Liked them on my GMT for about a week then couldn't wait to scrub them silly.

I don't dislike them outright, but I do feel the center link is a bit large to be polished on an oyster bracelet. The proportions seem a bit off.

Looks great. I’ve been tempted. Wonder if it would look odd with PCL and fully brushed clasp. My PCLs look okay but my clasps get pretty beat.

Instead of ‘clasps’ they should call them ‘scratch plates.’

(Still love my 116710 even with scratched PCLs)

When I bought my GMT II in 2011 I asked the AD if they could remove the shine of the center links. They said they could not. I wasn't a fan of them. In time the shine of the links didn't bother me. If I can have the counter links the exact same texture of the end links then I'd be happy with that. When I send in my GMT for service I'm sure the band will be returned to original condition. I'm ok with that as well. I suppose I'm neutral at this time. The bad thing is that the center links will again lose their luster in time.

On that note, will a service center apply the satin finish on the center links (the same as the end links) is requested during service?

I didn't like them before. But now, I don't really notice them or in fact like them in some cases. (Only speaking about them in Rolex watches, not other brands.)

For me polished center links have been a dislike ever since the original Batman debuted.

Not a big fan. Tried to love ’em, but just couldn’t - too blingy for my tastes. Milgauss felt so out of place with its PCLs.
