Beautiful movements - exhibition casebacks
As I'm primarily a Rolex guy I have no watches with exhibition case backs. I've often thought it would be nice to have at least one.
We always show so many full frontal photos let's see some of the rears. :) What is your favorite exhibition movement - pictures please! Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk |

The ALS is special, very 3D movements, like looking into a city. Journe watches are quite special as well, their classic dress line with their gold movements and allot of hand finishing give them a charm unto themselves. I did like the classically finished movements of VC and Latek but the Journe has a more artistic and soulful flair.

And something else. Equally satisfying but in a different way.

Nothing wrong with a 3/4 plate when it has a gold and platinum rotor in the middle. :-) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Here are three. The AP 15202 and FPJ are mine. The ALS 1815 Chrono is on my wishlist :)

Private watchmaker, Benzinger. Front included as well. Very Breguet. Hand-turned dial on a rose engine.
Saw this in person at the Watchbuys convention in NYC. Was blown away by the movement, all hand made. Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk |

Very impressive work as a display of skill. Might be busier than I’d like to wear. |

Benzinger is quite well known. The company collaborates with other watchmakers once in a while to produce stunning skeletonized masterpieces. The front looks phenomenal too.
If you're into this style, check out RGM Watch Co. Very cool too!
