Wow That's a hard choice two fantastic pieces but I would lean toward the Daytona

Two different watches, you should get the one you like and want the most

If it's a keeper the GMT. If it's a possibility that in the future you may trade it then the Daytona.

If you already have WG or PM in your collection, I'd go Daytona. If not....go for the PM piece....they're outstanding!

BLRO hands down. Love the look of a Daytona but I prefer a date and imho the GMT is the best looking Rolex along with the YG Blue Sub.

I agree with the other member who said get the Daytona and a SS Pepsi.
The new BLRO is an amazing watch but I'm digging the bezel color as much as the 16710. |

BLRO for sure, a really silly situation that these two are price comparable now.

The Daytona is slimmer than a GMT and more comfortable on the wrist. A precious metal Rolex is always going to be available, usually with some discount. A SS Daytona at list price is going to be hard to get and/or usually require a long wait. I would get the SS Daytona at list price and then later get the BLRO if your heart still longs for that watch. |

BLRO is so classic and beautiful and visually it is a Rolex a mile away, for all the right reasons. The other one is a nice watch.
BLRO for me if I had the funds. I do not. So, SOL is actually for me. |

The BLRO.
Unless you're getting the Daytona at MSRP/list price. Then get the Daytona first, immediately sell it unworn for the ridiculous street price, then take that Daytona money plus profit and put it all towards the BLRO. |

OR just be a super boss, buy the BLRO now and then add the Daytona when it's available.

I'd go with the Daytona, but buy a steel BLRO to cure the craving.

Are you able to try them on now? Maybe not a 116500 but maybe an older model so you get the feel of a Daytona? I lusted after Daytonas for a very long time until I tried one on. For me, the dial isn't very legible and it wears smaller than you'd imagine. Very disappointing day for me.
For these reasons, if it were up to me, I would choose the 116719. |
