I really have to check this out in person. I really dig the dial, but not the bezel. Color of the bezel is nowhere as nice as Batman in the pictures, but it may look better in person.

I love my new LVc. I thought it was yucky from the catalogue pictures, but once I saw it in person I knew I had to have it. The recent hype just lit a fire under my posterior to get one ASAP.

The dial is a real chameleon:

That's nice, shows off the green bezel more to its reality.

I can not stop telling how beautiful this watch is. Indoors like my pic. is darker dial with very quite looking without flashy impressions. Outdoors, like other mates pictures, is bright green reflex the sun and adding more shiny environments. It is a state of art.

OP, how would you compare this dial with the blue sunburst from the Sub Date? I love them both a lot, somehow, for me, the green would have a slight edge when the dial fully brightens.

Great photos in this thread! I think the beautifullly brushed finish on the lugs and bracelet deserves a mention. It really enhances the green!

Awesome photos folks. I wore mine all weekend - and kept getting distracted by that great dial. I’m really enjoying it.

I own them both. The LVc green dial is more dramatic with wider color shifts. From black to bright metallic green.

Still on the fence with this one, notwithstanding all the hype. There’s just too much green in some of the pictures/angles.

Man, I really like the bezel in the second picture, but the first picture makes it look pasty.

I'm a huge fan of the Blue sunburst and was an early adopter of the YG version, which has remained my fave Rolex even tho many have since challenged it, but if we were talking pound for pound and they were both made of the same metal I think I would really struggle to choose. As it is, I'd pick blue with gold over silver, and green with silver over gold, so I think Rolex have got these two spot on.

I'll be honest, I'm a little surprised by how much I like this watch, esp when set against my Blue Subc, but I am still in the honeymoon stage so maybe I'll cool down soon... or not.

Fully agree! A dial that never disappoints.

From my previous WRUW posts... each set captured and put together within seconds or minutes of one another, a different personality with a simply twist of a wrist!

Neil,

Hammer.
Nail.
Head.

Couldn’t agree more, my friend!

And an “action” shot...

Thank you all again my friends, and all the pics are great, esp from Faz and Steve showing off all the complexities of the dial.
