Has anyone bought vintage Rolex from Buyee japan auction site?
Just curious if anyone has actually purchased a vintage Rolex from this site and their experiences if any?
I’ve purchased vintage seikos and have had generally great experiences. But Rolex is obviously a different level so just wanted to hear some thoughts. Thanks! |

Of course Buyee is not actually an auction site but a bidding service for Yahoo Auctions Japan.
There are some good deals to be had (I bought my GMT 16700 via Yahoo) but you have to be very sure what you’re doing as returning a watch is next to impossible. |

I found what I think is a nice DJ but I’m trying to get my friend to translate it before I commit to it. |

Not much of a story. Bought it through one of the many jewellery stores that sell on Yahoo rather than an individual.
Just run the description through Google Translate. Will be close enough. The goods are normally ranked: N:New S:Mint, often with box and papers A:Used, good condition B:Used, average condition Q:Vintage If you want to send me a PM about the particular watch I’m happy to assist. |
