Thank you sir although I'm sure it would take me at least a couple of decades before I would be even remotely jaded by the likes of your Daytona..!!

Well, you can certainly afford a Snowflake soon - no problem! All original examples are really hard to come by and it seems the non-dates are a bit favored by collectors as of late. The M.N. issues are neat as well... Mine was worn by a US Navy Frogman during VN...

As a recent snowflake convert myself I gotta say it's a beauty. Love the Daytona too.

Looking for a snowflake, I stumbled upon your post at MWR--any takers on all that beautiful vintage dive gear?

Thanks Dan!

I actually considered selling this Tudor some time back and am glad I did not. I recently was able to track down the original SEAL that owned it and he was nice enough to send me a signed letter of provenance detailing his time in the Teams and how he came about the watch...so, this one's staying with me!

Funny you should ask sir... I just replied to Dan regarding just that! No, I'm keeping that collection now since I was finally able to find the SEAL that it belonged to (and it was a long, exhaustive search!). Super nice guy and since I now have a written accounting of the watch and gear then I'll have to keep it - the set is just too unique to me. He's sending me some pictures soon as well..!!

What a story, how cool is that?!!! Now I call that provenance.
