U-boat

Has anyone purchased one of these large beauties !?

Would love any feedback on the brand, quality, movement etc - are they all clear casebacks, it's difficult to see from the catalogue ??

Any help appreciated

Dan - I have a "Left Hook Auto" U Boat, and am quite fond of it. It is one of the smaller models at 45 mm. Black dial, ivory markers, numerals at 12, 4 and 8. It comes on a beautiful burnt orange color strap w/ deployment.
The movement is Swiss, the case and strap are Italian.

I haven't worn it very much because of my current Panerai obsession, but love the watch. It is a major attention-getter, and for me it is a perfect weekend watch. Cheers, Larry.
