Flipping a 15400 SS for a Daytona C SS

So i own a AP 26320 rose gold on strap (white dial brown strap), AP 15400 (blue dial) and a SUbc 116613 (black dial).... since I own 2 APs both royal oaks I'm contemplating on flipping my 15400 for a Daytona C SS. Thoughts?

Tried to attach pictures but some issue with dimensions and size of pictures which forum is not allowing me to post

I actually sold my DaytonaC for an AP ROO. Since you own two RO's, I think it'd great to diversify a bit.

Just what I was thinking... all 3 watches will be pretty different from each other

I wouldn't do it, my personal preference is the 15400 since I have no desire whatsoever for the Daytona C, I never liked the Daytona because I don't like chronos. Having said that recently I've taken a liking to the ROO, and I said to myself if I ever bought a chrono watch it'll be a ROO.....maybe that's an idea? A ROO is different enough from the RO to have in the same collection.

Either way is fine, but I think I'd be looking to move that AP for a PP instead.

If you really want Daytona do it! I would however not pay a premium for it as if that is case no way. You will take loss on 15400 and pay up for Daytona...Not a good move IMHO.
Ps personally I would also keep both RO's as so different.

i think those two APs are vastly different from one another, and therefore worth keeping both.
if at all possible, I'd add the daytona whilst keeping the APs.

Yup not for the blue, I'd rather trade the Sub.

I have 26320 and 116500. Consider the royal oak far superior, finishing is second to none. If I had to choose one, it would be royal oak

I'm looking at a similar decision as I want a watch with a white face. Offshore on rubber or Daytona. I can't make the decision.

I'll go against the grain and say do it. But I'm the kind of guy that doesn't like "repeats" in a collection.

I prefer the AP but if you want diversity why not, though I would get a 5167 from PP, you would have leather, SS and rubber strap watches, which is quite nice

It's kind of funny to imagine what the responses would have been if I asked this question on the Rolex discussion section as compared to the AP discussion section.....

And no I won't buy on premium no chance, so definitely on retail

No doubt the royal oak has a superior finish than the Daytona, only thinking of flipping because I own a chrono royal oak aswell... so basically for diversity...but at the same time the thing I don't want to do is regret my decision later

I think your 320or and 400st are plenty different enough to keep both.

I do like Arnauds idea of a PP Aqua, and I would take that over the Day for sure, but idk over the blue 400.

I view it conversly, because you own a chrono in that royal oak, you dont need another chrono in the Daytona.

Ha I did the opposite and went from black daytona C to 15300 blue! Still, having diversity is never a bad thing!

I'm not a big fan of the Daytona. Mainly because I need a date function.
Having said that, if you decide to sell the 15400, let me know. I've been looking for a used one for a while now. Serious.

I would flip the 15400 for the Daytona C. If we were talking about the Jumbo, totally different story.

There is no way I would ever flip a blue dial 15400 for a SS Daytona.

For the WG daytona on Oysterflex though, I might.
