Help me (please)!

I have been looking at Panerai as I'm not loving my Submariner 16610. I have a Tudor Big Block and 1675 which I love, but I'm looking at something different as an everyday piece. I tried a few and the 590 felt right. So, I've narrowed it to 44mm Luminor and manual as the case is slimmer. I'd really like sandwich dial and clear case back. I need to trade/sell Sub without additional funds if possible, and hopefully not get rinsed if I need to move it on. Don't mind used. So enablers, help me out and pictures are a must!!

Have you considered a 111?

Meets your criteria, will hold its value, looks great.

Another vote for the 111, me old China.

None available on Watchfinder, which is just as well because they tend to have a bit of a Steffi with their prices. However, here's one on Chrono24:

Should be just over the frog for you so get yer daisies on and go for a butcher's.

I shall investigate. Any other more whizzy ones; perhaps date, chrono, gmt?

Done a bit more research! I loved the 590, particularly on the tan suede strap. Is the faux patina and Italian 8 days a bit too much? The 390 looks great but again no clear back. And how about 112?
Thanks fellas.

I have a pam560 Q serial I'm looking to get rid of, still under warranty till next year march or April. Has a few scratches on the bezel. Bought from AD when I was in Hong Kong

Geezer, I can highly recommend the 359. It's not completely what you want because it's an auto and therefore a bit thick. If you like the look, maybe try the 1359 which, whilst still an auto, is a bit thinner. The 1359 though is relatively new and I wouldn't imagine there's too many on the used market yet.

Here's some links to a couple of threads; first one a post number 1 is my 359 on an Asso strap and the second at post number 9 is one posted on here previously (can't remember by whom) of a 359 on the gold JV gator strap, which looks incredible.

https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=494258

https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=540769

Sorry for the links and not photos but every photo I try and post now is apparently too big, even ones I've posted here before

One final question and then I will be off. Some have the OP logo above 6 in white or blue. Again is this something to be avoided?
The 590 is in the lead at the moment!

So I can't tempt you with a 359 then?

The 560 Q will tick all the boxes you asked for. I believe Q series was last of sandwich dialed bases. I had mine on the assolutamente brown that the 590 comes on.

560 would be a great choice for a one and only. I love that clean dial

560 is basically an slightly thinner 8-day version of the PAM112. I've had my 112 for 8 years and still love it - so simple and clean and lots of features for such a simple watch - flashlight-like lume, AR crystal, display case back and sandwich dial. I love the idea of an 8-day movement however, (Sunday morning alone time with a cup of coffee winding her up for the week). Servicing could be an issue but that's 7-10 years away.

Don't rule out a 372 or a 422 unless you've had a chance to try one on. I see quite a few on the forum markets right now. I didn't think I could pull off a 422 until I tried on on.

I'd love a 372 but 47mm is too big I think. I tried this 47mm and it just looked wrong!

You should go with what you want, learned this the hard way in Panerai...
That being said 590 is amazing in house movement with 8 day PR , just beautiful...

Also, don't rule out PAM372, i have a 6.5 wrist and it absolutely hugs my wrist well. Here are 2 different 372

Cheers,
