Incoming...ROO Chronograph Re-edition 25th Anniversary Ref. 26237ST

It’s my first AP watch and I had decided to go for the ROO Chronograph Re-edition 25th Anniversary Ref. 26237ST.

Expressed interest in Dec ‘18, paid deposit in Jan ‘19. I thought I would need to wait at least till May/June but to my pleasant surprise, I received a message 2 days ago that my watch is here!

AP boutique at Marina Bay Sands.

Awaiting Boutique Executive to get my watch.

Finally, the 26237ST. I can understand why the original version is called “The Beast”.

Bracelets sized up nicely.

Got an AP cap as a gift.

My small collection of watches.

Patiently waiting for 5167R and 15500ST. Fingers crossed.

Do you know what size your wrist is? That piece looks enormous on you. I bet the 38mm would be perfect.

6 1/2” wrist. I am hoping the 26315ST would be a perfect fit too.

Told the boutique executive not to remove it yesterday. Will do it myself at home.

Here’s a shot with top and bottom cover removed.

Thank you everyone. It’s a game of patience for future acquisitions and the good thing is I am in no hurry and the fun is in the waiting.

Congrats. Got to be honest and tell you it’s huge for your wrist. Just way too big.

Second pic looked much better. Bad angle on the first, made the watch looked huge! Nice pick up.

Yes, it is indeed a bit too big for my wrist, my ideal size should be 39mm. But I really like the look of the beast and I just couldn't resist

I wonder if changing to a rubber strap would help make it look smaller.

Personally I think it looks great! After all it’s called the “Beast”; it’s supposed to be huge!

Watch looks great - also I think size is fine. Wrist is just one part of the fit, hand and forearm size also have a big impact on how it looks overall.

Fully agree about there being fun in the waiting.

Congrats to OP. Lovely piece indeed.

As for the size, I think it’s just a bad angle making it look terribly big. I have the same 6.5” wrist and this is how 44mm ROO wears. I think they wear really nice in real life - cameras always show them bigger in wrist shots due to lens distortion when up close to object, like in first photo.
