Thanks guys!

Looking back at the first photo and the second one, the former’s lens distortion and bad angle certainly made the watch look bigger against my wrist, hopefully the 2nd photo provides a better perspective.

Wore this out today and truly enjoyed every minute of it. In terms of the finishing, it just feels more detailed and refined than my subC and TT Bluesy, it made my Rolexes looked ‘simpler’. The size and heft is certainly noticeable and it’s presence felt. My only complaint for now is the small date window, I had to look closely to figure if today’s date is ‘3’ or ‘13’.

Offshores are supposed to look big. And I believe it looks great on your wrist! Congrats and wear it in good health.

P.S. I saw this somewhere. A fine lady rocking a 44mm ROO Black Ceramic and I think it looks gorgeous on her!

I am a huge fan of the MBS boutique in Singapore and can't recommend them high enough - they consistently offer a top notch service, always polite and welcoming, and at least in my case, there was no BS and very clear timelines to their promises, and they beat them by a mile and some - I got my watch about 4 months after first discussing it with them, and being promised that it would be delivered within 12 months. I also sent one of my mates their way after he got interested in ROC and his experience was just as good.

On how the beast fits you - sorry but its twice the size you should carry;) my wrists are 17.5cm and I wont touch that thing...<40mm any RO is the sweet spot for ANY grown man, unless you are NBA star or a wannabe rapper....nice blue dial though.

Ill never understand why people post pics of women wearing oversized, largee watches.

Is that the look one is going for?

Tip: what looks like fashion on a woman may not necessarily be what is appropriate for a man

I'm going to go out on limb and say that 42mm doesn't look big at all, its a matter of perspective. Having both the original 42mm ROO and "proportionate" 39mm royal oaks (15300). I can say this:

1. From my perspective, when i look down at my own wrist and in close up wrist shots, the 15300ST looks well sized. From across the table at meetings, in the restaurant, at parties and at events the 15300ST is invisible and looks tiny.

2. From the prespective of people looking at me, the 42mm looks proportionate to my arm/body. Yes it looks bigger when i look at it from a wristshot angle but in a mirror and relative to my body (1.8m 90kg, well built) well sized. I have 16.2cm wrists so also not the largest wrist, but it fits the rest of my arm. I've gotten more compliments wearing the larger pieces more than more proportionate ones.

I will post some body shots to show what i mean later.

Changed to a navy blue rubber strap with deployant clasp and the watch is equally comfortable to wear.

Looking great mate. And better photos now showing how nicely it actually wears.
The strap works like a charm.

Thanks for the compliment! I'd learnt not to take closeup wrist scans using my iPhone X.

Cheers mate. Yeah closeup shot from wide angle lenses that all lenses that all the mobiles have return terrible distortion results.

From distance, the distortion is lessened.

Great shot...makes me think that I’ve been wrong to resist the call of the ROC!

Thanks guys!

It took me some time to research on the available choices back in end ‘18, including a white dial 15400ST that is readily available and I am glad that I managed to get the allocation for the 26237ST, although this isn’t a limited edition.

Fingers crossed and awaiting for a blue dial 15500ST next. My AP grail watch is the 15407ST but it’s almost impossible to obtain at MSRP. I was told by AP boutique that I would need to own a AP tourbillon to get the chance.

Different places, different rules, I guess.

Sorry but its way to big for you regardless which pic or angle. Ever see a kid wearing his fathers suit? Some watches are beautiful but simply do not work for small wrist guys. I'm sure you are not wearing shoes 2 sizes to big or that 5K suit if it doesnt fit perfectly. Its the same with watches.

I love the Blancpain FF 45mm but it would look weird on my '7+ wrist so its not for me. Even the 15400 is pushing my limits. These big watches are for big guys with '8+ wrists and huge arms.

There isn’t a need to say sorry. I have seen polarizing views for the photos I have shared with some saying it fits well and some commenting otherwise.

I have a 6.5” wrist that’s good for a typical design watch of 39mm but in the case of this re-issued Beast or the 44mm Panerais, I prefer to wear them big. It’s a personal preference.

But for other watch designs, like the 5905P, I find that way too big for me at 42mm. A 5930 or 5170/2 is better in this case.
