I would do it. I actually became a one watch guy. After flipping a couple I had a Pam 1940 it was cool and loved swapping straps, but missed the quality of a Rolex. I flipped the Pam and got a Sub C date. It is my own higher value watch (got a couple sentimental lower value ones but I don't count them.). I love the Sub C and if you want to be a one watch guy this is the piece to get!!!
