Personally am inclined to believe they are real. Need to see backs of
Both to confirm.

I've never seen a 5100 with the diamond bracelet but it's possible!

Prior to purchasing my OysterQuartz DJ I found this Beta model listed and the specs only related to 18K YG and WG (no diamonds) and there was no mention of Platinum models having been made.
I have checked this again and still can't find a reference to this YG model with diamonds or to any Platinum models having been made.

Can someone put up a link?

Those Beta 21/5100 are limited edition. I believe the white gold is limited to 99 pieces.

i don't recall you mentioning if they were still running. anyways if i was you i would grab them both, but if not possible grab the silver colored one as even if it's only WG it's still gotta be worth more than the yellow version. i would also forget opening them up or messing with them, and simply list them for sale and use some of the money to buy something you really like. since i gather you are not into watches all that much neither one would be practical to keep and especially not practical to wear.

only made in gold according to a document a found, get some better pics, diamond dial is legit, as for the band, rolex new york would customise bands with diamonds for special buyers eg. sultans back in the day it could be a special order

Interesting pieces for sure. Just goes to show you need to know what you're looking at! If I'd seen that gold one in pics on eBay I'd have assumed it was fake too. The diamond setting looks all over the shop doesn't it.

If you've got a choice of one or the other, it may be worth waiting as long as possible for info from experts on here as it's looking like the white metal one could be rare and potentially more valuable.

Very interesting and good for you, OP. I'd see about having the diamonds on the ladies watch removed, though, even a hack like me can tell those weren't Rolex.

Yeah if you are in Pakistan, I would take a trip to Europe, find a reputable auction house, see if they are custom, etc. Could be worth a bunch of dough. Definitely would not let any Pakistani watchmakers open the case back, I'd want to be right next to the person who did. They should be brought back to life by a Rolex Service center and hopefully nobody messed around with the innards through the years that they were worn.

Just take them, carefully, to a Rolex Service Center to see if they need serviced. That should also answer all questions about the watches, including authenticity.

Exactly this, way better than believing all kind of opinions
