Annoyed with myself
No idea how I managed to scratch the bracelet on my 116500ln.it. It was definitely not there when I wore it yesterday. I don't recall banging or scratching it against anything. Usually, I'm very cautious.

When I am doing something dumb and I scratch my watch I get annoyed with myself. Such as when after 3 glasses of wine I decided to attempt a bracelet swap and scratched the tops of the lugs on my beautiful Datejust 41.
But when I wear a watch and it has scratches that appear mysteriously from normal life I am ok with that. |

Appreciate the feedbacks folks, I've had it for around 2 months and worn it every single day.
I think my daughter may have done it with her fingers. I was putting her to sleep in my arms and she noticed the lume in the dark and appeared to be playing with ithe watch, and didn't think much of it. Oh well, I guess she's going to inherit a watch with many more scars to come. |

Wear and tear. All part of the ownership experience. If it bugs you there are a number of ways of addressing it. My favourite is to ignore it and on general principles, stay away from loupes.
I neither baby mine nor abuse them. I have an ugly whack on one of the lugs of my BLRO. Don't know how it happened. I couldn't stop looking at it, now I ignore it. It's like it went away. |
