From Batgirl to Batman

Last October I was in my local AD and asked about obtaining an oyster PCL bracelet for my batgirl. Frankly, I forgot about it until I received a call that the bracelet was in. They swapped out the jubilee (which I was allowed to keep) and installed the brand new still stickered oyster PCL bracelet. Almost like getting the thrill of a new watch.

Hard to beat the jubilee any day of the week. You enjoying the oyster?

I am. I’m fortunate to also have a Pepsi with a jubilee (which I at times swap out for an oysterflex). So having the batman on the oyster is truly a different feel and sort of allows me the best of both worlds

For me the Oyster is the only way to wear the BLNR. Jubilee on BLRO: Oyster on BLNR.

Very nice. I replaced the bracelet for two of my SS Sky-Dwellers from Oyster to Jubilee and really like it. Amazing how a bracelet change can change things up.

nice one but what do you mean with "which I was allowed to keep"?
maybe I don't read good but you pay for the new bracelet don't you? or your AD give you a gift?

I like that you are able to switch to the 79200 bracelet and enjoy either of your watches as you like. I would like to the same, but haven't been able to just order the PCL bracelet and keep the jubilee to add to the versatility of my collection.

I had read Rolex doesn’t like ‘parts’ floating out in the world so that if you obtained the oyster bracelet, they would keep the jubilee, making it more of a ‘bracelet swap.’ This was not the case. I paid $1,633.00 for the new Oyster which the AD installed and then they handed me back the jubilee my BLNR originally came with.

Want to sell me a jubilee? It’s proving to be harder to come by than thought.

From Batgirl to Batman

How much bud light did it take for this transition to occur?

9 month wait for a bracelet? Oof.

But it looks fantastic - I like the change.
