TT oyster v TT jubilee
Looking at adding a TT sub or a GRNR but curious about scratches on PCLs.
Currently have a SS Sub and DJ 41 on Oyster (which is kept pretty clean 5 years old with good PCLs thanks to Cape Cods). Is there any difference in the TT bracelets (jubilee shows less marks?) or am I trying to rearrange deck chairs on the Titanic and they both scratch up about the same (all things being equal)? |

TT oyster gets scratches from every little thing that comes in contact with it. long sleeve shirts/sweaters/etc will basically cover it up with swirls and microscratches, but it's not gonna be much different from a steel oyster bracelet with PCLs. that's just the nature of PCLs regardless of metal
jubilee bracelets hide them much better and you won't even see them unless you really start inspecting. regardless of this, with your collection i would definitely switch things up and get the GRNR |

In my experience the jubilee tends to hide the scratches better. It might not get scratched as much but I’m not sure if that’s because of less surface area or the curved nature of the center links. I have several PCL bracelets and they all show scratches well, especially the swirly ones from just normal use. I love both types of bracelets though.

Night and day difference. I own both. The PLC's are scratch magnets but on the jubilee you can't even see any scratches. Even if they are there on the jubilee, you just can't see them like you can on a PLC.

Jubilee definitely hides scratches much better due to the style/design. Oyster has a lot more flat surfaces obviously. I personally like the Jubilee over the Oyster simply because of the look. I have always been of a fan of that bracelet!
I would easily choose the GRNR over the Sub. Not only because of the bracelet, but I love the look of that ref, and I also love GMT's! |

For SS, I love smoth oyster. I do like the Roger Federer Wimbledon with Smooth, Oyster, YG. However, I think fluted and jubilee will hide scratches better.

The larger a surface area the easier it is to see scratches, so a jubilee will hide them better. Also, I think TT looks better in jubilee anyway. :)
